IN THE SPOTLIGHT- RESIDENT P.W
Resident “P.W” was a homeless Veteran that enrolled into The House of Matthew (THM) Homeless Prevention and Life-skills Program in mid 2012. In 2012 “P.W” was a father and Veteran. Today in 2013″P.W” is a father and Veteran, now accomplishing many goals and has achieved a higher level of education for himself while enrolled at THM, receiving his MSSC Production Technician Certification as a Foundational Level Certified Logistics Associate, demonstrating his readiness for work. Before coming to THM he wasnt sure where he was going to start next; all he needed to realize is that he enjoyed math and was good at it and that there is a place in the world for people who love it! Congrats “P.W” we are proud to call you one of our own!
- On March 18,2013 “P.W” passed a rigorous test in the 89th percentile after extensive training in logistics training at Tacoma Goodwill Industries.
- “P.W” still resides at THM actively involved in the Homeless Prevention Program. He is now going through an internship and awaiting an opening into a full-time position.
This is not a testimonial but a brief tribute to a residents success!
